Theatre makers, live artists, circus performers, and musicians - have you got a big idea for a micro project? If so we would like to hear from you for a new commission opportunity to make work for small spaces this year. 

Ideas Test’s mission is to increase opportunities for people in Swale & Medway to take part in arts and creative activity in whatever way they choose. Since we opened the doors a year ago at our venue, No.34 in Sittingbourne, Ideas Test has hosted a series of residencies from professional practitioners. The building is a quirky, intimate converted high street shop and hosting performance can present some interesting challenges! Where we have able to work on live art events such as theatre and music the results have been inspiring and made the most of the close proximity with the audience.
Following the announcement of our second phase of Arts Council England funding we are awarding commission funds of £5000 for a project/s to create and show work at 34 High Street and run further performances in community spaces such as town or village halls, shopping centres, shops or cafes in the area.
