For the second year, The Wilbur & Niso Smith Foundation is running the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize. The prize is open to writers of any nationality, writing in English.

The categories for submissions are:

• Published Novel | Prize: £10,000 

• Unpublished Novel | Prize: £5,000 Writer’s Adventure Research Award - a grant enabling the winner to travel to undertake invaluable research for their next story. They will also be offered guidance from Wilbur’s literary agents at Tibor Jones & Associates 

• Author of Tomorrow – short stories by writers aged 12 - 21 years | Prize: £1,000 and a framed certificate

Deadline for submissions: 23rd January 2017
