Gallery Elena Shchukina invites artists to apply to the first edition PROJECT, a zero-commission exhibition of abstract contemporary art by artists displaying identifiable or innovative techniques. 

PROJECT 2017 will be dedicated to art exploring themes of change & transformation.

Both UK and international artists are encouraged to submit their best artwork for this boutique experience - the first of its kind in the heart of the Mayfair - offering visitors the unique opportunity to meet the artists and buy artworks directly from their creators. The Project is a convenient and exciting opportunity for international artists who may not be able to travel to London, while providing local talent with new prospects.

The GES team will organise everything including installation, preview evening, events and marketing, as well as staff for the duration of the exhibition. GES takes 0% commission on sales.

Participants will also be entered in a public vote competition to win a solo exhibition at GES.

• Artist’s CV and biography
• Artist’s statement
• 4 examples of works you would like to exhibit
• Selection of wall space size
• Details of installation requirements

Participants will be required to pay for the exhibition space by way of a fee:
• up to 4m2 wall space: £450
• above 4m2 wall space: £550

Pre-selection will take place by 28th February – further details will be provided upon acceptance.

28th February 2017: Applications deadline
25th May – 3rd June 2017: Exhibition
