Presenting Arcola Theatre's professional workshops series
CONSENTING ADULTS
Following the enormous success of our summer series, Arcola Creative Engagement is thrilled to present our spring series of Consenting Adults workshops.
Consenting Adults is a series of innovative professional workshops and masterclasses open to adults of all ages. Led by world-class practitioners, they are designed to give artists at all levels of experience the opportunity to extend their performance and practical skills, keep industry ready and find new ways to hone their craft as professional practitioners.
Weekly workshop programmes run for 6 weeks and cost £85. All weekly workshops are 8pm-10pm at Arcola Theatre. Special one-off masterclasses with leading practitioners are aimed at an intermediate level, or those with a good understanding of the subject area and are looking to develop these skills further. These masterclasses will be £150 (including lunch on both days) and are limited to a maximum of 20 participants. Weekend masterclasses also include a ticket to Arcola Theatre's mainstage production on the Saturday evening.
From 13 February, we will be offering 4 weekly workshops and 2 weekend masterclasses:
INTRO TO ACTING Mon 13 February - Mon 20 March
INTRO TO PHYSICAL THEATRE Tues 14 February - Tues 21 March
ACCENTS AND DIALECTS Wed 15 February - Wed 22 March
DIRECTING ACTORS Thurs 16 February - Thurs 23 March
IMPROVISATION ON THE PAGE Sat 11 & Sun 12 March
BREAKING THE RULES Sat 18 & Sun 19 March
