Description

We Made That has been appointed by Southwark Council to carry out a series of improvements in the East Street area of Walworth, London. These improvements will include transformations to the market, shops and streetscape in the area. We are also launching an exciting public art commission to deliver a permanent piece of public art for the rooftop corner of 277-279 Walworth Road - at the junction of East Street and Walworth Road.

The two-stage process begins with and open call for artists and designers. 

Interested parties should submit portfolios of relevant past work and a short text briefly outlining their design approach. The deadline for Stage 1 submission is 10th of February 2017.
