Description

Republic Gallery is a temporary exhibition space within the Republic complex in East London. The space can be utilised for a variety of events, including photography and art exhibitions, talks, workshops and screenings.

Republic Gallery is set within an atrium and has its own entrance, which is accessed via a garden.

The space is offered free of charge on the criteria of creative merit and/or financial need.

Republic is committed to involving the wider arts community from across London, however we particularly welcome proposals for the use of the gallery from individuals and organisations based in the East.  

A gallery information pack is available upon request. Any party wishing to be considered for use of Republic Gallery should submit a proposal outlining how they intend to utilise the space, along with artwork examples, artist biogs and proposed dates and promotional plans. Proposals should be emailed to Lindsay@Republic.London Please also include information on previous shows you have curated or produced.

Republic is a six acre commercial and retail estate located in East India Dock, London. East India DLR station is onsite and Republic is moments from the Jubilee line. It is only 13 minutes from Bank, 22 minutes from Bond Street and 7 minutes from Canary Wharf.
