Description

The Lacy Nook invites artists to apply to the first edition 8CR, a zero-commission exhibition of contemporary art by artists displaying identifiable or innovative techniques.

Both UK and international artists are encouraged to submit their best artwork for this restaurant experience - the first of its kind in the heart of the Stoke Newington - offering visitors the unique opportunity to meet the artists and buy artworks directly from their creators.

The Lacy Nook team will help to organise everything including installation, preview evening, events and marketing, as well as staff for the duration of the exhibition.

Participants will also be entered in a public vote competition to win a solo exhibition at The Lacy Nook.

ALL submissions must be sent to: info@thelacynook.com

and include:

• Artist’s CV and biography
• Artist’s statement
• 4 examples of works you would like to exhibit
• Selection of wall space size
• Details of installation requirements

Applications Deadline: 31st January

Exhibition: 17th February – 24th March

Pre-selection will take place by the first week of February – further details will be provided upon acceptance.
