I am delighted to invite you to the Private View of “CONNECTIONS TO THE MIND”, solo exhibition by the Brazilian artist Alexandre Gondim, on Wednesday 19th April, from 6pm to 9pm, at Willesden Gallery, 95 High Road, NW10 2SF. The exhibition runs from 13th to 29th April.

23 works of abstract art will be displayed, whose purpose is to touch the audience and foster many sensations through the use of colours and shapes.

Alexandre's work has a well-defined identity and can hardly go unnoticed. His paintings are, in general, vibrant and full of energy. His tropical roots can contrast with the grey shades of London, yet, his artwork shares a universal language.

Each exhibited painting brings a story, an emotion; they are portraits of the unconscious of the artist in the moment of their production. The diversity of his work is intentional so as not to become repetitive. 

The gallery is in the Library at Willesden Green, less than 10 minutes walk from Willesden Green Station.
