Description

The  course has been developed to help you to start drawing and improve your drawing abilities at the most basic level. You don't need to have any previous drawing experience just bring a willingness to have a go and have some fun.

Each lesson is structured around a specific learning objective (see full Course Programme below). There is no figure drawing on this course. Classes are limited to 10 people so you get lots of individual attention.

Drawing is so much more than the end product, it can help us to see the world more clearly and teach us to love and express ourselves. It does not need to be about public display or the end product which for me is simply a bi-product of care-full observation.

Week 1: Overview of Drawing Concepts. 
Week 2: Geometry and basic perspective. Learning to see.
Week 3: Perspective II, shadow, tone. Rendering space.
Week 4: Understanding and exploring form, light and tone.
Week 5: Learning from the masters. Compositional considerations.

Dates: 

5, 12, 19 of August and 2, 16 of September

10 am to 1pm

At Bonnington Centre Community Association,  11 Vauxhall Grove, London, SW8 1TD.

£125 , 40 deposit. Materials provided.
