Play has a vital role in creativity and innovation. Don’t let not being a kid get in the way! Get into the swing of things at our adults-only playground on Friday evening. Make new friends. Get the latest schoolyard gossip. Have 10 turns on the Lozziwurm!

Special guests include Carenza Lewis, Professor of Public Understanding of Research at Lincoln College of Arts, of Time Team fame, who will work with The Big Draw’s Drawing Associates to flex your memory and imagination in a “no artistic skills” required drawing activity, accompanied by complimentary drinks.

Saturday 10 September

10am Doors + registration, 10.30am-5pm, Symposium, 5-7pm, Drinks reception

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art

On Saturday, the real fun will begin. Expect wonderful workshops, digital drawing demonstrations, interactive experiments and innovative installations from expert contributors and inspiring visual literacy advocates from the worlds of design, science, art, engineering and more.

It's time to turn STEM to STEAM and dazzle with the limitless power of drawing. Hear from art and science educators and innovators as they discuss and demonstrate the integral role of drawing within their disciplines.

Come and celebrate with art educators and tool up the next generation!
