CHILDRENÂ’S SUMMER WORKSHOPS

CHILDREN’S SUMMER WORKSHOPS, THE KOPPEL PROJECT

Description

This August The Koppel Project are teaming up to provide a series of summer workshops based on books in the Phaidon collection for children ages 2-8.

Workshops will include Phaidon activity packs, storytelling from Phaidon books and creative tasks and games led by artists. The workshops will be based on Phaidon’s new children titles This is Not a Book, Can I Eat That?, Harold’s Hungry Eyes, Animals are Delicious, Blue & Other Colours with Henri Matisse, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie: The Complete Book of Nautical Codes, Growing Together and Toto’s Apple, and each workshop will include a book to take home.

The workshops can each accommodate 10-15 children and we ask that children are accompanied on-site by a parent or guardian. Workshops cost £20 per session and include: 1 x Phaidon children’s book, refreshments for children, workshop materials, coffee/tea, pastries, and treats for mum and dad. Additional children after the first are just £10.

Workshops will take place upstairs in our education centre. Parents are welcome to enjoy our downstairs cafe and have a relaxing coffee/tea whilst workshops are running.

Workshops will be held every Tuesday and Thursday morning (10-11am) and afternoon (3.30-4.30pm) at Baker Street throughout August, and can be booked in advance by emailing info@thekoppelproject.com with the subject line ‘Children’s Summer Workshops’.
