Description

Wigan STEAM is a future focused arts organisation based in Wigan. We are home to a shared working space, a ceramic studio, digital suite, community cinema and a fully equipped maker space.

Our organisation is a collective of artists and makers interested in exploring the places where science and technology intersect with creativity.

Our town centre gallery space opened in February 2017, and we are now seeking proposals for exhibitions from artists and curators. We will be considering exhibitions for April, May and June, and are particularly interested in hearing from artists working with digital media.

Exhibitions will last for 4 weeks, including installation. There will be no charge for the exhibition space, and no commission on sales. Wigan STEAM will publicise the exhibition via social and print media, and local and national networks. Transport, installation and public liability insurance costs will be the responsibility of artist / curators.
