Saturday, 1 April and Sunday, 2 April 2017 10am to 4pm

£150.00 including light lunch and tea(max 5 people)

Enjoy and extend your drawing skills in structured sessions that explore observation, experimentation and composition using a range of materials.  Weather permitting, we hope to spend some of the session working outside. This will be complemented by looking at artists use of drawing in their practice. You will need to bring 2 sketchbooks (A5 and A3), a basic drawing kit including pencils (B,2B,4B,6B), an eraser and a sharpener.  We will supply a selection of materials for which there will be a £10 charge on arrival.

To be held at the studio of Susan Kester in Brimscombe, Stroud, GL5 2RR.

Susan Kester is graduate of Goldsmith’s University and has recently received an MA in Drawing from Oxford Brookes University.  She has taught people of all ages and experience since 2002.  Her classes are relaxed and enjoyable with an emphasis on building confidence, increasing knowledge and learning new skills. Julie Smith is graduate of Cardiff Institute and completed her MA in Fine Art: Drawing at Wimbledon in 2004.  She has over 20 years’ experience in teaching from informal leisure classes to M.A.  Her enthusiasm for creativity is clearly demonstrated through her teaching style and recognition of the individual within us.
