Are you an artist and want to explore the arts of the past with a small group of fellow artists and under the guidance of an enthusiastic art historian? Join Sara Riccardi in her sessions: with an MA in History of Art, gained in Rome, and a creative and engaging approach, she has conceived a format which promises to be both informative and entertaining.

The sessions have been designed specifically for contemporary artists, with a focus on relatable topics and numerous starting points to prompt active conversation. “I want to look at the History of Art not only from a scholarly point of view, but mainly from the artists’ one” says Sara. The idea behind the project is to stimulate engagement between the present and the past, and among the artists attending the sessions, creating an opportunity of exchange and enrichment.

From an eight-session long chronological overview of the History of Art to single thematic sessions on specific topics tailored to the group’s interests, Art Across offers a dynamic and fresh view of the subject, to suit diverse audiences of artists and institutions.
