Description
We’d like to invite you to a performance of Motherhood: (Un)speakable, (Un)spoken from artist Joanna Rosenfeld, on the 27th/28th and 29th May as part of the Brighton May festival. It's on at the Rialto Theatre, 11 Dyke Road, at 4.30 pm.
Motherhood: the (Un)speakable (Un)spoken uses performance, storytelling, live painting, projection and puppetry to explore subjects within the motherhood experience often culturally marginalized and aims to open a dialogue with audiences about what beliefs, assumptions and expectations exist around the idea of motherhood. It is a moving, memorable and an unflinchingly honest journey for those who are parents- and for those whom have parents!
“Outstanding devised theatre...It could hardly be bettered, and is unique in its ambition, scope, heart- break and affirmation… A Hidden Gem"- Fringe Review 2016

“Inspiring - honest - real.”- Audience member
