Description
Join Janice M to sing amongst the inspiring and ever-changing acoustics of nature in her Wild Singing Workshops in Cornwall this year at Trebah Gardens Amphitheatre (1 June), Enys Gardens' Foodjam (9 July) and Port Eliot Festival (27-30 July).
Each workshop is a unique and immersive experience where you will quickly learn simple melodies and harmonies of beautiful songs in a friendly, group atmosphere. Guided by singer and vocal coach, Janice M, participants will sing a cappella among the sounds of nature, creating a memorable and shared experience.
The Wild Singing Workshops will include fun engaging warm-ups through to good vocal techniques, which you can apply long after leaving this event. This experience is for singers of all abilities, including complete beginners.
Workshops will be taught by ear with no experience of reading music necessary. Lyrics for the songs will be provided on beautiful bespoke designed postcards for participants to keep. There are workshops specifically for adults and also for families.
Wild Singing is all about harmonising with the great outdoors and feeling good.
Born in Cumbria and residing in Cornwall for the last ten years, Janice M has performed for private and public events and in venues all over the Southwest. From jazz to soul, folk to gospel, she fuses a range of genres in her own inimitable vocal style.
Alongside singing in Cornwall-based band The Grace Notes, Janice M is a vocal coach and works regularly with various community groups and runs wild singing events.
Tickets are on sale now. Booking early is highly recommended as places are limited. See www.janicem.com for more information and to book.
