Description

Are you graduating from university this year and looking for the perfect kick start to your career? The Graduate Art Prize is now open for entries, offering the country’s most exciting art graduates the chance to win £1,000, a group exhibition and representation from the UK’s leading art rental consultancy, ARTIQ.

The Graduate Art Prize was established in 2012 by ARTIQ and law firm Herbert Smith Freehills and is open to all final year students on BA and MA degree courses at British art colleges or universities. Its reach and status are growing year on year and it continues to move beyond the major London teaching institutions to colleges and universities from every corner of the UK.

From the entries, 20 artists will be shortlisted to take part in a group exhibition and exclusive private viewing event where the winner will be announced. The event will be attended by corporate collectors, art patrons and buyers. Last year’s private view, held at Herbert Smith Freehills’ City of London office attracted over 200 attendees with 75% of the works available sold on the night.

All shortlisted artists will also get the opportunity to sign with ARTIQ and have their work represented to our client-base of international corporates, hotels and residential projects. Since formation in 2009, ARTIQ have paid over £1.3 million to our catalogue of emerging and established artists.

In order to qualify for entry for the 2017 edition, artists MUST:

  1. Be graduating from a BA or MA from a UK college or university in 2017.
  2. Enter via the Entry Form on http://ift.tt/1UzuRkB
