Description

Until the end of November, Wakefield Beer Exchange will be holding a solo exhibition by contemporary painter Lisa V Robinson. She will be showcasing 9 of her framed Gouache and Watercolour paintings on paper.

Her colourful works hover between abstraction and figuration and they are influenced by a variety of sources including: architecture, mid century interior design, landscapes, film & music.

Lisa V Robinson is currently based in Westgate Studios, Wakefield. She studied BA Fine Art Painting at Manchester School of Art, graduating with First-Class Honours in 2008. Since graduating from university, Lisa has proceeded to win the Joan Day Painting Bursary and was shortlisted for the New Lights Art Prize.
