Description
COLLABORATE is an open access investment fund for people wanting to involve a dramaturg in their choreographic practice.
Part of South East Dance Dramaturg in Residence programme
Deadline: for applications is 10am, Monday 17 October 2016
Dramaturgs support artists to develop thinking and vision as they create their work. Our Dramaturg in Residence programme offers different ways to engage with dramaturgy.
If you would value some time with South East Dance’s own Dramaturg in Residence Lou Cope, our Guest Dramaturg Martin Hargreaves or your own Dramaturg – you can apply for up to five days of support to work with them. We are open to your ideas and hope to be as flexible as possible.
Here are just a few ways you might want to work with a dramaturg:
- Ongoing skype consultations to support you throughout a process
- Research and development prior to going into rehearsal
- Time with a dramaturg in the studio during a rehearsal process
- A combination of the above…

Collaborate is open to artists from across the UK and internationally to apply.
We encourage applications from artists who identify as disabled and/or are from a BAME background.
