Over the past 18 months artists have been looking into the insatiable human desire to explore the realms above, below and on the surface of Earth as part of Allenhead’s Contemporary Art’s (ACA’s) programme, As Above So Below.

Throughout the weekend of the 28th–30th October, the results will be on display including installations, performances, science lectures and walks. The weekend will preview the North Pennines Observatory. There will be expert talks on the Universe and the History of Astronomy.

Exhibition: Friday 4-8pm  Saturday 12-late  Sunday 12-9pm

18 artists at venues around Allenheads including ACA Gallery, Heritage Centre, Blacksmith’s Shop, Old Schoolhouse.
