Description

The Write Network has launched a project to help the development of new writers. The project is based in East London. All writers from London and surrounding areas are welcome to apply, although we would like to particularly encourage BAME writers.

Each writer will take part in a set of workshops structured to guide them through the process of writing a short play.!

Towards the end of the process each play will be read by professional actors as part of the creative process.

There will be two Page to Stage events in which three writers will have the opportunity to have a rehearsed reading of their play in front of an audience (industry professionals will be invited) The readings will take place at The Maud, Walthamstow.

The project is subsidised but there will be a cost to each writer:

5 workshops
Dates: June 21st, 28th, July 5th, 12th, 19th! Time: 6.30 to 8.30pm
Cost: £65.00
