Lakes Alive - a fantastic arts festival that takes place in Kendal, south Lakes - will return on 8-10 September 2017. 

The festival offers a weekend of spectacular happenings in and around Kendal and wider Lake District National Park. 

With the theme of “Cultural Landscapes” it will showcase world class art in unexpected locations across the town and beyond.

Last year around 20,000 people attended Lakes Alive. Visitors experienced vibrant illuminations, digital delights, intimate performances, amazing installations and spectacular happenings.
