Description

CIT (Creative Industries Trafford) is pleased to announce Curator Incubator, a new development programme for aspiring curators, supported by Arts Council England.

This project offers the opportunity for emerging curators to co-devise forthcoming exhibitions due at Waterside Arts Centre in south Manchester over the next 12 months.Selected curators will be supported by experienced mentors and a bursary of £2000 will be offered to successful candidates.

• Artist’s statement or background on your work either as a curator or in the visual arts (up to 150 words). You may include relevant web links with this section.
• Why  you wish to apply for this opportunity – what would Curator Incubator mean for your creative development and, broadly, how does it fit in with your longer term creative development plans? (up to 200 words).

Candidates will be invited to an interview with the Curator Incubator selection panel during July 2017.

Deadline: 5pm, Mon 10th July 2017.
