Experimental Fashion Illustration
Date: Saturday 17 June Time: 11.00 – 16.00
What you will learn
In this creative full day workshop, run by renowned author and Illustrator Stuart McKenzie, you will learn how a professional fashion illustrator shapes a successful portfolio of drawing. The day will be filled with activities to create drawings for your own portfolio.
You will learn how to create new, fresh and experimental drawing techniques, using mixed media. You will gain new skills and insight to drawing from exhibition material, working with the Museum’s current focus on Women in Advertising.
The workshop is led by Fashion illustrator Stuart McKenzie, author of Creative Fashion Illustration (Bloomsbury), Central St. Martins graduate and previous Studio Assistant at Vivienne Westwood; a love for punk and an enviable portfolio, Stuart is the perfect tutor for aspiring designers and artists.

About Stuart McKenzie
Stuart McKenzie is a freelance illustrator and lecturer in fashion illustration. He has lectured at American Intercontinental University, London, UK, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, UK.
