Summer School programme for young people at Manchester School of Art. Come and get Creative withour staff, students and Resident Artists.

Paper Portfolio Week

In this week you will explore the possibilities of Paper. From product design with paper to bookbinding, Photography to Risograph Printing. Work both 2 & 3 Dimensionally to create a portfolio of exciting work to take home with you at the end of the week.

This programme will run for 5 days in total. Monday 25 July - Friday 29 July.
This project is suitable for year 10 - 13 Students. 

Workshops run 10am – 3.30pm at Manchester School of Art.

Peppered Moth Project Week

Work with our Artist in Resident and Scientists
to become part of our STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Maths) TEAM! Do you have interests in science, technology, engineering, art or maths? Then take part in this creative project to get people talking about our climate, the environment & our impact on evolution. Your work will be exhibited in a professional exhibition. 

This programme will run for 5 days in total and is suitable for year 7 & 8 Students. Monday 1 August - Friday 5 August. Monday 1 August - Friday 5 August. 

Workshops run 10am – 3.30pm at Manchester School of Art.

Ceramics & Circuits Week

Come and push the boundaries of ceramic making through artist lead workshops at Manchester School of Art. Spread over two weeks, you will be set the challenge of transforming hand made ceramics into a collective construction which will explore themes of digital circuits and physical interaction. Making in the School’s 3D facilities, you will work alongside Lecturers, Interactive Artists
and students. Following this you will be working in the university’s new digital venue The Shed.

This programme will span 2 weeks, 6 days in total. You will need to be available for both weeks. Monday 8 - Wednesday 10 Aug & Mon 15 - Wednesday 17 August.
This project is suitable for year 10 - 13 Students. 

Workshops run 10am – 3.30pm at Manchester School of Art and Digital Innovation.
