DRAFT is a new writing development event for fresh ideas.

After becoming a successful fixture at London's Theatre N16, In Motion Theatre Company is bringing DRAFT to the Edinburgh Fringe in association with theSpaceUK on Sunday 14th August.

Are you going to be in Edinburgh in August? We're looking for 10 minute extracts from as-yet-unseen plays/ideas in development.

We'll select five extracts which will be explored and staged as script-in-hand readings in collaboration with professional directors and actors in one day. DRAFT places emphasis on writers developing their ideas and provides opportunities for varied feedback, including a table discussion prior to the event with other writers and directors to discuss inspiration and intentions behind their work.

DRAFT has no set theme - we're simply looking for work with strong dramatic potential. It's important that writers view their work as in development, with unanswered questions they'd be looking to explore through theDRAFTprocess.
