Description
BY THESE EXTERIOR SHOWS is a 3-hour, drama-based workshop for people ages 16+ who identify as having an 'invisible', or 'hidden' disability at Goldsmiths, University of London in the Richard Hoggart Building, Room 154 on Saturday, 9 July from 1:30-3:30pm.
A history of performing is by no means a requirement, but a passion for Shakespeare is welcome! We will be using the text in a fun and engaging way to explore and celebrate the resilience that comes with having an invisible disability.
There will be some light refreshments, so when you RSVP, please provide any information regarding allergies or dietary requirements.
This workshop is research for my MA dissertation on creating a space in the classical theatre community and disability arts for performers with invisible disabilities through the use of Shakespearean soliloquy.
