Digital Institute for Early Parenthood (DIEP) is inviting professional inter/national artists/filmmakers to submit short films they created in response to any aspect or stage of their pregnancy, birth and/or new parenthood journey for BROOD FILM FEST 2016; the first annual international short film festival in the world dedicated to the subject of early parenthood.
BROOD FILM FEST 2016 will launch at Exeter Phoenix 28 & 29 Sep 2016 before being presented and promoted online to global audiences at the new Digital Institute for Early Parenthood for six weeks from 30th Sep – 11th Nov 2016.
The BROOD FILM FEST 2016 line-up will be shortlisted from submissions by a panel including Nicky Bentham (Producer, Neon Films, credits include Moon, 2009, USA, Dir: Duncan Jones), Jonas Hawkins (Digital Director, Exeter Phoenix, Two Short Nights Film Festival), Dr Christopher Lewis (Co-founder/Director, Digital Institute for Early Parenthood) and Mila Oshin (Director/Curator, Brood Film Fest, Project AfterBirth).
From the ambiguous to the sublime, from the hilarious to the downright shocking, from the tragic to the transformational.
Almost anything goes. So submit now. Deadline 18 July 2016.
