YOU ME BUM BUM TRAIN ARE LOOKING FOR PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS

The award winning, not for profit theatre company You Me Bum Bum Train takes individual audience members on an exhilarating journey where they transcend their everyday lives and gain access to a range of real life experiences that would not normally be possible within one lifetime.

HOW YOU CAN BE INVOLVED

You will be working directly with the shows Directors and Producers and will gain experience in how a large scale, site-specific theatre production works. At the end of your placement you will receive a reference from the show's Directors.

Team Management

You will be working with teams of specialists to create records and archives of the show.

• The CAD design team are creating plans of the show.

• Web Developers are designing exciting new features of our website.

• Documentary Makers are editing and compiling footage with the view to create a

  film about the history of You Me Bum Bum Train.

• Researchers are working with data from our current show run to understand the

  show’s reach and impact.

• Graphic Designers are designing reports, new features of our website and a

  retrospective program.

  Creative Processes - Learn about the set design of the show by supporting our designers in compiling records and documentation of the sets and props used.

  Site Management - Support the Production team in managing the current venue, develop practical skills by helping to make good the venue and take down sets, supervised by professionals. Help to support the management of the production office.

  Press / PR - Help compile a press archive for the most recent show which received 6 5 star reviews from the likes of The Times, The Daily Mail and Time Out.
