Summer Workshop – Coed Dylan 2017
Dates : June 5th - 16th (Monday - Friday 10 - 6)
Where : Near Llangain Village, Carmarthenshire
Cost: £350
(Lunch, biscuits, fruit, teas and coffees will be provided daily)
Please Note: the workshop will begin at 6pm on June the 5thwith a welcoming meal on Coed Dylan
Join us for two full weeks of exploration and new skill learning on Coed Dylan (Living Pictures outdoor workshop space) located near Carmarthen in West Wales. This workshop will inspire you to connect more deeply with yourself, with others and with your environment using Shakespeare's text as a launching pad. The focus will be very much on you, the artist, the creator and is open to both actors and directors.
Through the exercises we will explore you will begin to identify your strengths and also areas you want to improve. This is a unique experience in that you will be learning and taking away tools to carry on working in your professional and personal life. Techniques such as Neurological Levels (NLP), finding connection and freeing up your spontaneity through the repetition exercises of Sandford Meisner, experiencing the 5 Rhythms of Gabriel Roth, voice work outdoors, the latest technique in accessing emotions via your physiology (PEM), mindfulness exercises and a chance to connect to yourself and others through massage and body work.

The days will be full and will include sessions of guided work on the land. There will also be cooking and eating lunch together.
A typical Day might look like:
10-10.45: Meditation/Mindfulness
10.45 – 12.30: Acting Exercises
12.30 – 1.30: Work on land/Preparing Lunch
1.30 – 2.15: Lunch
2.15 – 3.15: free time/journaling/siesta/One to one Coaching
3.15 – 5.30: NLP/Body Work/Guest Tutor
5.30 – 6.00: Closing Mindfulness
