The Art of Playfulness

A weekly group for adults aged 18+ to play, have fun and let the inner child run free for an hour of (drama)games.

The group is open to all, non-performers and performers alike. The sessions are about using theatre tools in a safe and non-competitive space to encourage a state of (well)being rather than about acquiring/enhancing performance skills. Absolutely no experience necessary, just a willingness to get involved, play with the group, run around a bit and try new things. Some games you might be familiar with, like tag, Grandma's footsteps, Mr Hit, two truths and a lie, yes and then...

Classes are run by Gemma who has been working professionally in Theatre, Education and Community work for more than ten years and is an experienced group facilitator.

When: Thursdays from 3rd November to 8th December, 7-8pm.

Where: The School Room at The Mint Methodist Church, Fore Street, Exeter EX4 3AT

Price: £5 per week or a half term's worth (6 classes) in advance for £25 getting the 6thsession free. Student Rate £4.50 with NUS card.
