Description

Musician who has experience in composition or wishes to gain this experience required, must already be experienced in improvisation and/or arranging and/or devising. Must have a high standard of musicianship. Preferred instrument - strings. Ability to sing is a great advantage. For more information see facebook page Out of Place 2017 @nicolaburnettsmith 

You should be free to audition in London asap between now and 26th November, available on the evening of Sunday 27th November 6-9pm and on the evening of 6th December 2016 6-9pm. From that point on there will be one workshop per month culminating in a performance in June 2017. 

In a nutshell, as part of a team of composer-musicians you will select a poem that inspires you to write music or song, using each other as the band/orchestra to perform your composition. I have had submissions of over 50 poems that we can choose from and the support from the world of poetry has been tremendous.
