Burjesta Theatre are holding open auditions for 'Shakespeare: War Play' an in-house adaptation of Shakespeare's history cycles (Richard II, Henry IV, Henry V, Henry VI and Richard III) into a single play, using solely Shakespeare's texts.

Auditions takes place on Wednesday 23rd November, 6pm at The Casa, Hope Street, Liverpool. Rehearsals will begin the week following with two week-day evening rehearsals a week prior to Christmas. In January there will be two rehearsals per week, one a week day evening, one on a Saturday.

Performances will take place on 6th, 7th, 8th and 11th of March at The Casa and possibly other venues.

Please note this is unpaid work.

If you are interested in auditioning please send an email to info@burjesta-theatre.co.uk and we will send you an audition pack consisting of four monologues from Shakespeare's History Cycles. You will need to choose one of the four monologues. The audition will consist of performing that monologue off-script .
