Chuck Gallery is launching a shop for our customers and visitors.

We are looking for contributions of original drawings, photographs and small craft items on a sale or return basis from artists and craft people wishing to develop a relationship with the gallery through the Associate Artist programme.

Chuck Gallery is the first private art space in North West England dedicated to the promotion of contemporary African art in Manchester and beyond. Our focus is the provision of a varied collection of high quality original artwork and exceptional art services. Our collection comprises of an eclectic mix; ranging from realism to abstract impressionism.

We are looking for window mounted unframed 2D work which can be presented in cellophane wrapping within an Art Rack or 3D work that can be dispalyed for sale within a glass display cabinet. Work that will retail at between £10 and £70, with a split 50:50 with the gallery. So please submit only work that you require a maximum of £35.

If your work is accepted, we will be having a Receiving Day at the Gallery on Wednesday 17th May in time for the launch of the shop on the 18th May to conicide with our Meet the Artist Event.

Becoming a member of the Associate Artist programme is the first step in developing a relationship with the gallery, opportunities within this programme currently consist of monthly networking and skills exchange meetings, free tickets to events, an artist residency in Wales in the summer  and consideration for a group exhibition in January 2018.
