Rachel Lichtenstein, author of new book  Estuary: Out from London to the Sea, in conversation with with Travis Elborough,  I Wish You Were Here.

An immersive, intimate journey from London into the world of the Thames estuary and the people who spend time there.

Rachel Lichtenstein has travelled the length and breadth of the estuary in hardy tug boats, stately pleasure cruisers and even an inflatable dinghy. During these journeys she has gathered an extraordinary chorus of voices: mudlarkers and fishermen, radio pirates and champion racers.

Travis Elborough's  I Wish You Were Here explores the English seaside and our unique national character.

Join these two authors for a discussion on life at the edge of the water, from the city of London all the way to the coast.
