From the cliffs of Dover to the tempestuous Southern Ocean, Ensemble Perpetuo will take you on a poetic and musical journey exploring the beauty and unforgiving nature of our seas, and the courage and love of those who have worked and sailed across it.

With music by Debussy, Sally Beamish, Cecilia McDowall and Malcolm Arnold, and a special exhibition of photographs inspired by the sea, curated by the London Photo Festival.

Ensemble Perpetuo will be joined by narrator Richard Stilgoe, and conductor Alasdair Nicolson, for a performance ofUpside DownSailorby Roxanna Panufnik.
