ArtReach (www.artreach.biz ) is delivering its iconic Night of Festivals event (http://ift.tt/1oV6nRB ) on the South Bank on 6 and 7 August to celebrate the opening weekend of the Rio Olympics. The event is on Potters Fields Park, Queen's Walk and the More London (Scoop) area around City Hall and Tower Bridge. There are two days of carnival, samba, live music, visual arts installations, theatre and storytelling, with performances including international artists from Germany, Bulgaria and Romania.

In addition to the core team that produces and stage manages the Festival, we are seeking a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help share information at our visual arts installations, provide additional support for our carnival performers throughout the day, and to help audiences complete evaluation questionnaires that will enable us to effectively assess the impact of our work.

Volunteers (aged 18 +) are needed for either or both days with the team on Saturday needed from 1-6pm and on Sunday from 11am – 6pm. Following the activity on Saturday afternoon there is a chance to see our special Night Time Lit Carnival with stilt walkers wearing inflatable colour-changing costumes. Volunteers will have a full briefing and support from key members of the ArtReach team.
