Physical Theatre Workshop and Street Performance

Description

This four-day intensive workshop for dancers and actors will give an insight into different physical theatre techniques ranging from Grotowsky, to Lecoq, from Gecko to Frantic Assambly . Combining movement and text, we will work on excerpts from Shakespeare plays, with the aim to create a street performance. All ethnicities, languages and backgrounds are welcome.  It will be led by Susanna Dalcielo with live music by Rodrigo Diaz Arroyo.

Susanna Dalcielo has worked collaborativly in Britain, Italy, Germany, Greece and Austria. Has written and directed "Stories of Ordinary Women" that premiered at the Actor Centre and most recently has written and produced " Why didn't we go?" A short film that will premiere at the Rio International Film Festival .

In Between Theatre was formed to promote new, collaborative and international work, promoting Unity through diversity.

When: 24,25,26,27 of July 11am-16pm on Sunday, 10.30-16.30 every other day
