Description

National Paralympic Day and Liberty Festival is a free, fun, outdoor event at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It takes place on Saturday 3 September from 1pm - 6pm. The family-friendly day includes a range of ‘come and try’ inclusive sports for all, plus the very best of Deaf and disability arts.

LIberty Festival includes a great arts programme with live music, dance and street theatre, DJ’s, aerial performance, visual arts, poetry and film. The event takes place just four days before the start of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. To celebrate, expect a carnival theme, with participation by Brazilian artists.

This year Liberty Festival includes premiere of 2 new outdoor arts commissions, supported by Arts Council England - Grants for the Arts.
