FARMOPOLIS IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
Become a House of Wayward Plants Facilitator- Unpaid Volunteer Position
Farmopolis is a pioneering new model for public green space bringing together farming, food, arts and culture. Farmopolis is a floating garden constructed using reclaimed plants from the 2016 RHS Chelsea Flower Show - transforming a jetty into one of London’s most unique living event spaces and with unrivalled panoramic views of the River Thames.
Facilitator Role:
1. As part of the Farmopolis programme, we require energetic and friendly volunteers to deliver our House of Wayward Plants activities, hands-on workshops and to engage with the public highlighting the activities taking place at Farmopolis
2. You will act as an ambassador for Farmopolis and be a key point of interaction of with the Public.
3. You will help people of all ages and interests safely take part in activities that celebrate plants and as a representative of our Public Programmes Team, you will appreciate and advocate the value of high-quality engagement and learning.
4. You will support artists and other individuals and organisations to undertake their parts of the programme in the House of Wayward Plants and Farmopolis. Duties will include
Successful candidates:

Will display confidence in dealing with visitors and provide a warm welcome.

Will have proven skills in and experience of facilitating learning and engagement activities.

Will ideally have some botanical or gardening knowledge.
