Description

The Ballery in Berlin is an artspace and gallery ran by British director Simon Williams.

Every summer for the month of August and first week of September The Ballery welcomes artists from the UK to apply to use the space and at the end of the residency present an exhibition of works.

The Ballery is located in the heart of Berlins queer district on the same street as where the former British writer Christopher Isherwood lived when he wrote the stories that inspired the film Cabaret.

The gallery space is 96m2 and includes bathroom, kitchen, wifi etc with big windows to the street and allows artists to use the space as they like, 6 days a week. 

The Ballery supports resident artists in connecting to the pubilc and will assist artists in presenting their works in an exhibition at the end of their stay. 

The price of this opportunity is £700 per week or £3,000 for the five week period.
