The Project Assistant will assist with our upcoming project, Reimagining Goldfinger.  Reimagining Goldfinger focuses on the heritage of historic Cheltenham Estate, designed by award winning architect Erno Goldfinger. The project will excite local young people about the history and potential of their estate. It will engage them with older residents as they investigate its past. It will unite the local community in celebration of the unique heritage of the estate they share.  The Project Assistant Volunteer will work closely with the Marketing and Outreach Officer and Arts Administrator, to promote SPID’s projects to young people and within the local community and to provide general project support.

This is a key role within the organisation and requires a high level of motivation, enthusiasm and energy. You will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have an ability to think creatively. You will have excellent organisational and administration skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to get out into the community and talk to young people. In return we will offer the opportunity to work on a marketing campaign and develop your skills in research, writing copy and press releases, managing social media, liaising with a creative team, contacting schools and youth organisations and general administrative responsibilities in an arts setting. Written reference will be provided upon completion of the project.
