A landmark concert and exhibition in which contemporary artists bring Dover’s heritage alive at the historic Maison Dieu (Dover Town Hall).

Exhibition opens at 5pm

Concert starts at 8pm end 10pm (approx)

The exhibition showcases work by the 14 artists who participated in the Dover Museums and Arts Group Joined Up project and is inspired by the WW1 collections of Dover District Museums and heritage sites. The participating museums will be showing objects from their existing WW1 collections that have inspired the artists alongside the artists new works.

The concert programme reflects on themes which the WW1 Joined-Up project has raised and also includes two world premieres:

• Nigel Clarke/Malene Skaerved-Pulp & Rags (2015)
• David Gorton-Lachrymae Variations (on a Theme by John Dowland) 2015
