A short film documenting Richard William Wheater’s extraordinary performance at Plymouth Arts Centre involving synchronised processions of flats bearing scooters, that took to the streets during 2015.

The enlarged photograph of a plastic model poplar tree adorns the flags, and meanders amidst a cacophony of engine noise, to a final resting place.

Tree and Scooters was part of the Acts of Making Festival, a Crafts Council Touring Project developed and delivered in partnership with Bilston Craft Gallery, Plymouth College of Art, Plymouth City Council (Arts and Heritage) and Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums, 2015.
