Description
During this walk, we will be exploring structure in and around participation, using texts by Michael Ende, Jo Freeman and Thomas More as a basis. The walk will take place 11am - 2pm, Saturday 16th July, starting and finishing at Somerset House. It forms part of the Walking Women strand of the Utopia 2016 festival.
Please email us directly at walkingreadinggroup@gmail.com to book and receive the texts. The walk is free to attend.
The Walking Reading Group, active since 2013, is a collective project run by Lydia Ashman (London), Ania Bas (London) and Simone Mair (Bolzano) that facilitates knowledge exchange in an intimate and dynamic way through discussing texts whilst walking together. In this reading group the table is broken up by the street and the dominant voice is replaced with conversation partners talking simultaneously. Anyone can participate and the walks are free to attend.
