Description
The final themed writing and illustration contest for Issue #5 of the A3 Review, the literary magazine that acts like a map, is now open. The theme is Tracks.
Use your favourite music track as inspiration (maybe keep it on a loop as you write). Think about karaoke tracks you would choose, the tracks that make you want to dance, or cry, the ones that bring back memories of lost friends or lovers. Think about tracks you might listen to when out running (on a track!). Maybe swap things around and think about making a track as a musician in a band. Or maybe think about other types of tracks, the ones you follow through woods or across fields, or picking up the track of someone or something else. Think train tracks, bike tracks, tracking someone online; the inside and outside tracks, being on the right track - or better still, the wrong track!
We welcome short stories, flash fiction, comics, graphic stories, a snippet of memoir, photographs, illustrations, and any combination of the above. The only restriction is a word-limit of 150 and images should fit well into an A6 panel. Cost is £3 ($5) per entry. Cash prizes on offer for the issue's winning pieces.
DEADLINE: 27 August 2016
Entries only valid via the A3 Review website at: http://ift.tt/1PVSHox
