Description
Worcestershire Arts Partnership were successful with their bid to the Arts Council for two years worth of new performing and new writing showcases We expect to have six showcases and four masterclasses in that time.
This project will form part of 1000 Days - the County Arts Strategy for Worcestershire.
Our next event is taking place at The Worcester Arts Workshop in Worcester on Saturday 22nd July. It will form part of Watch out Worcester which is an event run through Dancefest to promote Worcester through a series of predominately outdoor arts events. We thought it would be great to be part of this and thus our event will take place from 2pm – 4pm on that day. We are thus offering both an indoor and outdoor space for people to perform in as well.
Through the funding we can offer any prospective writers/performers a fee of up to £400 for each performance.
Each performance needs to be no more than 20 minutes with a minimum technical requirement. We know some actors but again if you have people that you know that is even better.
If you are interested in performing and have something you want to consider please let me know no later than 5pm on Friday 3rdJune.
I need:
- Your name
- Name of play
- Synopsise of piece or even better an email copy of it
- Cast numbers including ages and male/female ratio
We will not have more than 5 plays/performances at any event.
We will prefer to have plays from performers and writers who have an association with Worcestershire or who are interested in working in the county.
